EHYFL Considers Expansion

After a successful first year, the EHYFL board is considering a request to join the league from the New Richmond Lions youth football organization. The board will be meeting at MVCA on February 11 to discuss the pros and cons of the possible addition.
New Richmond has been a common opponent of Mariemont and CHCA the last few years and by all indications, it has been a positive experience for the players and all organizations involved.

As summer moved in to fall all the league battles were completed and all teams finally faced off and rivalries were born.

EHYFL Kicks off Season with Preview at Mariemont

On a blistering hot August day, the EHYFL took it's first step towards a new league, a new experience, and hopefully a great new football experience for the youth football players in our communities. Madeira, Mariemont, and MVCA all participated in a round-robin type format. The format was 10 plays of offense and then 10 plays of defense against each team. By all reports, all coaches were happy with the format. It gave the kids a chance for finally get some game action and hit some kids in different uniforms. All EHYFL kids will now start league play after Labor Day. All teams will have league games for three weeks and then have two "open" dates to schedule other games before completing their home-and-home games against league opponents. Good luck to everyone!
